It’s summertime in Springfield and that means it’s time for outdoor events and activities. Here are some upcoming events you won’t want to miss. Don’t let the heat stop you from enjoying the sunshine! Everyone go out and have some fun this season. 🙂
- The Farmers Market is every Monday from 11am to 6pm, until October 30th. The Farmer’s Market is located at the Springfield Free Public Library Lawn (66 Mountain Avenue). Stop by for Jersey Fresh fruits & vegetables, baked goods and more!
- Summer Concert this Thursday, July 20th at 6:30pm on the Town Hall Lawn. Free live music and ice cream! Sponsored by the Springfield BID.
- St. James Church Parish Day of Service is on July 22nd.
- Springfield’s National Night Out is Tuesday, August 1st from 5-8pm. It will be held at the Jonathon Dayton High school parking lot, free admission with tons of food trucks and activities.
- Blood Drive on Monday, August 7th at the Chisholm Community Center (100 South Springfield Avenue), from 2:00-6:30 pm. It is sponsored by the New York Blood Center-New Jersey Blood Services and hosted by the Springfield Recreation Department. Everyone is asked to sign up for an appointment at nybc.org/njdrive.
