Good morning Springfield!
We have been fortunate to be able to secure Dayton High School as a Rite Aid vaccination site for students aged 12 and up. Attached is a copy of the press release from the Board of Education detailing this.
As a not only the Mayor but more importantly as a parent and a resident, I cant even begin to tell you how proud I am of all those involved in making this happen.
Apu Mullick , who is our Chief of EMS and also our Deputy Coordinator for the Office of Emergency Management, put the wheels in motion on this. Apu, I can’t thank you enough for all you do for our town. You are just an unbelievable asset to us. Thank you for caring as much as you do!
To our Board of Education, thank you for working so hard to help restore the health of our community. I’m glad to see such smooth collaboration between the town and the BOE. My door is always open to you and any needs our students may have.
Have a great day!
Chris Weber
Mayor
