On Tuesday, Commissioner Bette Jane Kowalski (pictured below with Township Clerk Linda Donnelly and Mayor Alexander Keiser) stopped by Townhall to present the Township of Springfield with the an award of $49,000 in grant money. One check ($45,000) was from the Kids Recreation Trust Fund and an additional $4,000 from the Greening Union County grant.
