Prior to his current role in the Springfield Recreation Department, Brendan served as a part-time Recreation Assistant and Program Coordinator, and worked as an Assistant Manager at the Springfield Community Pool. Brendan has served as an elected member-at-large of the NJRPA Aquatics Section, as well as a participant in the NJRPA Mentorship Program. He is a Certified Pool Operator and a Certified Pool Director, and has received training in Certified Playground Safety Inspection.
“I’m very proud of Brendan for earning this recognition,” said Adam Lieb, Director of Recreation. “He’s a friendly face at Chisholm and the pool, and full of energy and good ideas. Brendan is highly involved in our special events, new playground designs, volunteer coach education, summer hiring, and our afterschool program, among many other projects. This award is a sign of things to come for Brendan in his involvement in the township and NJRPA.”
