Recently, at the New Jersey State PBS Valor Awards Ceremony, one of our hometown police officers, Brian Trotman was recognized as the NJ State PBA member of the year. I have worked with him for the past three years as he is the current PBA delegate for Springfield. We have worked hard at making sure the Township address the ever changing needs of our officers and giving these officers our support to do their jobs effectively. Brian is a gentleman and is an exemplary officer who is the true definition of community policing. The Springfield PBA is lucky to have him as their delegate and the Township of Springfield is lucky to have such a dedicated officer.
