Here is one of the projects going on in town that after it’s done, will not be visible to anyone. Trivett Park, since it was created, has had a flooding issue with at least 1/3 of the park. It made it unusable to anyone because it stayed in a constant wet state which caused it to also be filled with bugs.
Our DPW and Recreation Department, through some grant work and our own labor, are installing underground water storage units that will alleviate our issues. The park will be dry and able to be fully used.
Our DPW crew is the best out there. Looking forward to the completed project.
