Good afternoon Springfield,
All went exceptionally well yesterday with Congressman Malinowski and his staff. They were at Townhall from 3-8 and assisted residents getting their FEMA paperwork filled out.
I have a meeting with a FEMA representative today and will report back to all with the outcome.
FEMA is not going to be here today to handle paperwork. Today I will be trying to get them to commit to a date and time for our town.
As has been said, continue to put out debris and damaged materials from Tropical Storm Ida. DPW will be picking it up. I do not have any time frames for when they will be on your block. All I can tell you is that, it will be picked up.
