5-7.5 Running at Large.
No person owning, keeping or harboring any dog shall suffer or permit it to run at large upon the public streets or in any public park, public building or other public place within the Township.
5-7.6 Leashing of Dogs.
No person owning, keeping or harboring any dog shall suffer or permit it to be upon the public streets or in any of the public places of the Township unless such dog is accompanied by a person and is securely confined and
controlled by an adequate leash not more than six (6′) feet long.
5-30.3 Removal of Animal Waste.
- No person shall allow a dogto soil, defile, urinate or defecate on any private property without the permission of the owner of such property.
- No person shall allow a dogto soil, defile, urinate or defecate on any public property, but same shall be allowed upon any public street, and within the public right-of-way between a sidewalk and the public street. Such person shall immediately remove all feces deposited by such dog (but shall not be responsible for removing urine), and shall properly dispose of same pursuant to law. Such person shall, to the greatest extent possible, limit such dog to the public street and the outermost portion of the right-of-way.
- This section shall not apply to trained guide dogsduring the actual performance of other duties.
Under Rules of Conduct for parks:
27-2.1c No person shall bring a dog, cat or other pet, whether leashed or running free, onto any public park or playground or any portion thereof at any time.
The following pertains to fines, etc.

Any person who violates or who fails or refuses to comply with § 5-2 of this article shall be liable to a penalty of not less than $5 nor more than $50 for each offense, except that for the first offense, the penalty shall be not less than $1 nor more than $50. Any person violating any other provisions of this article shall, upon conviction thereof, be liable to the penalty stated in Chapter 1, § 1-5.
