Springfield Recreation to Screen “The Lion King” at Chisholm Park in August
Save the date! Join friends and neighbors at an outdoor movie later this summer! On Thursday, August 26, 2021 (rain date Friday, August 27, 2021), the Disney live-action remake of “The Lion King” (2019-PG) will be presented on a jumbo screen at Chisholm Park (100 South Springfield Avenue).

O’Reilly Elected to Aquatics Section of State Association
Brendan O’Reilly, Assistant Director of Recreation, has been elected Member-at-Large of the Aquatics Section of the New Jersey Recreation and Park Association (NJRPA). The two-year term begins this month. The Aquatics Section provides resources to aquatics professionals operating swimming pools, aquatics amusement facilities, and waterfronts in New Jersey’s communities.
