Two Township of Springfield employees were honored during the Township Committee meeting held on December 13th. Deputy Tax Assessor Jennifer Sherman and Planning and Zoning Administrator Jennifer Law were presented with certificates of Merit for their work putting together the Annual Fall Festival & Car Show.
The festival was held back in October and it was a huge hit. Tons of people came out and got to enjoy beautiful weather, live music, and a vast selection of delicious food trucks, from tacos to egg rolls, to pizza and ice cream, even Thai food and so much more. There were also carnival games set up, a petting zoo, inflatable bouncy house, tons of vendors, the vintage car show, and horse drawn carriage rides. Overall there was a lot of activities for everyone and we have them to thank for that. Even during the festival both Sherman and Law were working and going around making sure everything was as it should be.
“You guys and everybody involved did a remarkable job with the street fair this year. We couldn’t have done it without you guys. It continues to get better and better each year and that’s a credit to all of you.”
Mayor Alexander Keiser
Certificates of Merit were presented by BID Co-Chairs Scott Seidel and Michael Scalera to Jennifer Sherman, Jennifer Law, Jennie Udell and Monte Ehrenkranz (Jennie Udell and Monte Ehrenkranz were not present for the presentation).
Congratulations and thank you for all the work you put in to make the festival so special.
