The Township of Springfield’s annual Tree Lighting event will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022, from 6:00-8:00 pm. The event will be outside of Townhall. There will be live performances, free hot pretzels, appearances by a Toy Soldier, the Grinch, and Santa Claus.
The Springfield Free Rabies Clinic will be held on Saturday, December 4th. It is free of charge and located at the Chisholm Center (100 Springfield Ave, Springfield NJ). Springfield residents will also have the opportunity to obtain a 2023 pet license. Please bring exact change or a check payable to the Township of Springfield. 
The Rotary Club of Springfield is hosting a food drive packaging event on December 8th. They are looking for volunteers to help in packing up meals. It will be held at the Chisholm Center at 6:30pm. 
The Church and Cannon Chapter of the National Society, Daughters of the American Revolution will be hosting their 1st ever Wreaths Across America Ceremony. The ceremony will be held on the 2nd floor of Townhall on December 17th at 12pm. The event is free and anyone interested in sponsoring a wreath should visit this link.
