We’re very happy to announce that the Township of Springfield now has an Instagram account. One of the first things Mayor Keiser requested when he took office was a new social media account for residents to better connect with Townhall.
For those who aren’t aware, Instagram is a photo and video sharing app. With an account, users can follow accounts they like and be notified when a new post is up. By following the Township of Springfield account, residents will be notified when a new update is on the website and which department is involved, along with any pictures.
It will be run and updated by the Township’s Public Information Officer; and everything shared on the Township’s Facebook page will be shared on Instagram as well. It is important that residents do still check the website for updates as the account will not include all important information.
The account can be found at the top of the Springfield website by clicking on the Instagram icon. An account is not needed to view it and can be viewed from a desktop computer; no phone needed.
