Good afternoon Springfield,
We can’t let the day go any longer without giving an huge thank you to Geri Ann Kazimar, Linda McNichol Donnelly, and their group of volunteers for all their work with yesterday’s Memorial Day Parade. It was by far the biggest turnout we have had in years. It was everything that Memorial Day stands for and it was unbelievable to see how many kids, parents, residents attended to show their respect and love for those who gave their all for this country.
Freedom isn’t free and we are thankful for everyone who has ever put on one of those uniforms.
