• Recycling Update
  • The new 2025 Recycling Schedule is up on the website now. 
  • Plastics bags are not permitted in recycling cans. Cans with plastic bags will not be picked up. The reason being; the recycling gets put on a belt and goes through a machine but the plastic bags get caught in the machine and then have to be manually removed by someone. 
  • Please put recycling out in a can with a lid to prevent it from blowing away. 
• In the middle of winter equipment maintenance, everything has to cleaned and put away. Salt spreaders, plows, etc. everything has to be inspected, repaired if needed, and then stored.  
• Spring park clean up has begun. There are 14 municipal parks in town, each one has to be inspected for hazards and then general clean up process. 
• Curbside Clean Up 
  • Residents can begin leaving vegetative waste out on April 1st. 
  • Must be contained in a can or biodegradable bags. 
  • DPW crews will canvass the town daily but will not follow a set schedule. 

• Dispatch; the County will be in sometime this week to install some additional software.  
• Library ceiling was looked at, HVAC and ceiling contractor came in to take a look. Hoping to start in the next few weeks.

• Waiting on a revised drawing; changes to the roof line. 

Patriots Way 

• Making great progress, about 30 to 40% done. 

Gomes

• Next meeting is April 9th. 
• The site is being checked on a regular basis. 
• Some business have come forward with intertest in renting spaces.
