Calling all young actors: Do you love acting? Do you want to learn new skills and prepare an audition-ready monologue in a fun and encouraging setting? Through games and acting exercises, actors will have a chance to learn more about how to deliver a moving performance. Whether this is your first acting class or you want to prepare for a specific audition, the workshop is a chance to learn, grow, and have some fun. Improve your techniques and skills, and then show off what you learned in a showcase for family and friends at the last class!

Ages 9-14: Calling all writers! Looking for a way to workshop your skills this summer and write creatively? Look no further! We are offering a class that allows students to practice their skills and learn from a writing student at Hofstra University! Students will walk away with perfected grammar, better description writing abilities, and a short story of their own! This class offers a fun outlet for creative students to blossom and test their writing abilities without the pressure of a grade!
Ages 14-18: Interested in creative writing? Want to understand what it takes to write a book or a movie? This summer, students will learn how to hone in on what makes your writing and storytelling unique! This class offers students the ability to analyze their favorite pieces – from book to films – and then write their very own. The workshop allows students to creatively find their voice and become the best writer they can be – especially ahead of writing a college entry essay!
