If I park my vehicle on the street overnight, or during a snow storm, will I be ticketed?
“If I park my vehicle on the street overnight, or during a snow storm, will I be ticketed?”
There is NO parking permitted on any street within the Township of Springfield between the hours of 2am and 6am.
If, in the case of an emergency or extenuating circumstance, a vehicle must be parked on the street overnight, please contact the Springfield Police Department at (973) 376-0400 to avoid the issuance of a summons.
Be prepared to provide the reason the vehicle will be parked on the street, the location of the vehicle, and the make, model, color and license plate number of the vehicle.
Please note that there is no parking permitted on any street during a snow event. This is to allow for the Department of Public Works to effectively remove snow from Township streets.
