• The new 2025 Recycling Schedule is up on the website now. 
• Plastics bags are not permitted in recycling cans. Cans with plastic bags will not be picked up. The reason being; the recycling gets put on a belt and goes through a machine but the plastic bags get caught in the machine and then have to be manually removed by someone. 
• Please put recycling out in a can with a lid to prevent it from blowing away. 

• Residents can utilize the drop off at the recycling center located at 44 Morrison. 

• Survey was started last week, it will be completed this week. The corners of the property will be staked. 
• Then some trees need to be removed, grading has to be done and drainage has to be done. 
• The Township has received a grant form the County for $416,000. 

• A meeting was had with the vendor who provides the equipment for our ballfields. We’re going the demo a piece of equipment that hopefully soften the clay in-field. 

The project announced at a previous meeting replacing the Gas Main from Millburn Ave to Alvin Ter was postponed. Update will be given when there’s more information.   

Work Continues on Linden between Wabeno & Owassia. Residents can expect detours during this work. 

Going out for Engineering bids for the

• Full length of Highlands Ave  – Mill and overlay with miscellaneous curb repairs. 

• Fill length of Windsor Drive – Full curb replacement followed by mill and overlay. 

• Project includes upgrades to NJDEP drainage inlets frames & grates and regulatory signage. 

• Public Works will perform all internal televised inspections of both the Storm & Sanitary system should we need to incorporate any remedial sewer improvements.
