Animal Control
The Springfield Police Department Animal Control Officer is responsible for responding to and investigating reports of stray dogs and cats, animal bites, and wildlife concerns throughout the Township. Residents experiencing animal-related issues are encouraged to report them promptly to help ensure the safety of both people and animals in our community.
Common Animal Control services include:
- Stray dog and cat investigations
- Animal bite reports and follow-up
- Wildlife concerns and nuisance animals
- Injured or sick animal assistance
