Residential Property Checks

Going on a vacation?

Notify the Springfield Police Department at 973-376-0400 or email community-policing@springfield-nj.us. Provide us with the address, dates, and contact name and phone number. A member of the Springfield Police Community Policing will perform random checks of the property to give you some piece of mind while you’re away. These checks will be visual inspections of the exterior of the home from accessible areas of the property, looking for obvious signs of suspicious activity. This service is available to any Springfield Township Resident.
